Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to find a mediator on MediationList, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we do
- Pages use real headings, labeled form fields and landmarks, and they work with a keyboard. There’s a “Skip to content” link, and you can see which element has focus.
- Buttons and links on phones have tap targets of about 44 pixels, and text sizes respect your browser settings.
- Images that carry information have text descriptions. Decorative illustrations are hidden from screen readers.
- Colors are chosen for contrast, and the site follows your device’s light or dark mode.
- Phone numbers, forms and search work without a mouse, and error messages appear next to the field they belong to.
Known limitations
- The map on the “Find a mediator” page is also available as a text list of states right below it.
- Some official sources we link to (court and agency PDFs) are not ours and may not be fully accessible.
- We haven’t had an independent accessibility audit yet. We test with keyboard navigation, screen readers and automated checks.
Report a problem
If something doesn’t work for you, tell us what page and what happened. Email hello@mediationlist.com or use the contact form (choose “Accessibility”). We aim to reply within two business days and can help you find a mediator another way in the meantime.
