In many states private mediation isn't licensed, so you may be able to serve clients elsewhere, often online. After claiming, you can say which states you serve online (or nationwide). That appears as your own statement, separate from your court certifications, which always show only the states whose official rosters list you. Courts may require a mediator from their own roster for court-ordered cases.
Yes. Mediators who aren't on an official roster we collect can add a free self-listed profile. It's labeled “Self-listed” and shown in a separate section below court-verified mediators. You can upload a training certificate, bar card or membership for a credentials review; that label is not a court certification. Add your profile · What the labels mean.
Roster details come from the court, so the best fix is at the source; we update on our next check. You can also ask us to correct or remove your listing at any time on the Remove or correct a listing page. Remove or correct a listing.
