Divorce mediation cost calculator
Compare a rough range for mediation with a rough range for going to court, using numbers you get from mediators and lawyers. The results are estimates, not quotes.
We don’t fill in “typical” prices, because rates vary widely and we only publish numbers from official sources. Ask two or three mediators and lawyers for their hourly rates and expected hours, then enter a low and a high figure.

Court (one side’s lawyer): enter a low and high figure
Not included: expert fees, appraisals, parenting classes and other costs that vary by case. Many cases use both: some mediation and some lawyer time.
