About MediationList

MediationList helps people find a mediator they can check. Court-verified listings come only from official court and government rosters, and each links to its source. Mediators who aren’t on a roster we’ve collected can add their own profile; it’s labeled “Self-listed” and kept separate.

Why we built it

When a court orders mediation, or you just want to settle a dispute without a trial, it can be hard to tell who is actually certified. Official rosters have the answer, but they can be hard to search. We bring them together in one place, in plain English, and show where each listing came from.

How we make money

Searching is free for everyone. Mediators can claim their listing for free. We plan to offer paid plans to mediators; paid placements will always be labeled “Featured · Paid placement.” We never take a percentage of a mediator’s fee, and payment never changes certification details.

What we are not

We aren’t a law firm, we don’t give legal advice, and a listing isn’t an endorsement. Always confirm a mediator’s status with the official roster linked on their profile.

Who runs MediationList

MediationList was founded by Jeff Zorn, who is also its editor. He oversees the roster data and edits every guide.
