How child support is calculated in Oklahoma
Oklahoma’s child support computation (43 O.S. §§ 118A–118I, 119, 120) reads a base monthly obligation from a schedule using the parents' combined adjusted gross income and number of children and splits it by each parent’s share of income. A parenting time adjustment applies when the noncustodial parent has at least 121 overnights a year, and the court decides support when combined income exceeds $15,000 a month.[1]
