When a Florida circuit’s court mediation program handles court-ordered mediation, state law sets the fee per person for each scheduled session:
- The court program family mediation fee is $60 per person per scheduled session if the parties' combined income is less than $50,000 a year. (Fla. Stat. § 44.108(2)(b))
- When a circuit court mediation program provides court-ordered family mediation, the fee is $120 per person per scheduled session if the parties' combined income is more than $50,000 but less than $100,000 a year (unless the General Appropriations Act sets a different fee). The statute sets no program fee tier for combined income of $100,000 or more. (Fla. Stat. § 44.108(2)(a))
- The court program fee for county court cases up to $15,000 in controversy is $60 per person per scheduled session. (Fla. Stat. § 44.108(2)(c))
