Cook County is its own judicial circuit, the Circuit Court of Cook County, and the circuit clerk's main office is at 50 W. Washington in Chicago.[3][4] Under the court's Major Case Court-Annexed Civil Mediation Program, Law, Chancery and Probate Division judges can refer civil cases seeking more than $30,000 to mediation.[5] In the Domestic Relations Division, Family Court Services mediates parenting disputes at no cost, but only on a judge's order; questions go to (312) 603-1540.[6][7] The Law Division also keeps a list of court-certified mediators.[8] Most mediators listed below come from the Illinois Labor Relations Board roster and from federal and other circuit court panels.[9][10]
