The Circuit Court for Washington County sits in the Andrew F. Wilkinson Courthouse in Hagerstown, and MACRO lists separate civil (non-family) and family ADR programs there.[3] When a case is suitable, the court orders mediation in contested child access or child support, marital property and alimony disputes.[4] For child access cases, the court keeps a list of approved mediators, who hold up to two court-ordered sessions of two hours each.[4] The court lists the rate as $200 an hour, split evenly between the parties, though income-eligible parties may ask the Family Law Fund for help.[4] The Washington County mediators below are on the Judiciary's MACRO statewide roster, as of October 2026.[1]
