The Circuit Court for Worcester County in Snow Hill has civil (non-family) and family ADR programs, which the Judiciary's MACRO office lists under the court's Family Services coordinator.[3] The Family Services Program offers custody and visitation mediation with a court-approved mediator who has 40 hours of basic training and 20 hours of domestic training.[4] For property, child support and alimony issues, the court appoints a mediator from its list of court-approved mediators, and the number of sessions it orders is limited, for example two and later two more if needed.[4] Parties are expected to take part in good faith.[4] Tri Community Mediation in Salisbury offers free community mediation, and District Court ADR services are free to participants.[3] Most mediators listed below come from MACRO's Circuit Court Roster and Mediator Excellence directories.[2][5]
