How to become a mediator in Hawaii
Who certifies or lists mediators in Hawaii?
No statewide mediator certification or court roster body was identified on Judiciary pages. Court-connected mediation is supplied through CADR-contracted community mediation centers and, for appeals, program-appointed volunteer mediators (retired judges/justices and counsel); parties may agree on a private mediator under Appellate Mediation Program Rule 5(c).

Do I need a state credential to mediate in Hawaii?
State credentials and court rosters mainly matter for court-ordered or court-connected cases, where a court may require a mediator from its own list. If you plan to mediate cases that people bring to you privately, check whether Hawaii or your profession has any rule that applies. See do I need a mediator certified in my state?
